  • What is included within the venue fee

    •Full event organisation from the moment you book right up until the big day itself

    •Exclusive use of the venue and gardens from 09:00 on the day of your wedding

    •Garden terrace including canopy, rattan furniture, fairy light pagoda, and festoon lighting.

    •Our 5ft round dining tables (seats up to 8), 6ft trestle tables and casual bar tables

    •Our lime wash chivari chairs with neutral seat pads

    •Four wooden highchairs

    •Stage, PA system (for background music), handheld microphone, dance floor

    Fully stocked and staffed bar set near the dance floor

    •Coat rail with partition wall

    •Ample onsite parking

  • What is included with in the ceremony room hire

    •Full set up of the room in your choice of layout

    •Portable sound system to play ceremony music of your choice

    •Wooden signing table and chivari ceremony chairs in the Orchard Room or a white clothed trestle with gold/red chairs in the Oak Rooms

  • What is not included in venue hire fee

    •The booking of and separate fee payable to the Church or Registry Office

    •Ceremony chairs if having an outdoor ceremony (Lawn chairs can be quoted for and hired in)

    •Table linen – we do supply this in a choice of white or ivory, it is quoted for separately as it depends on guest numbers and preferred table layout

    •Entertainment – we do offer the services of a professional and reliable DJ company, and this can be quoted for if required.

    •Styling Items – As we are a blank canvas venue, you can style the hall to your hearts content, either by sourcing items yourself or we can quote for items to hire in for you.

    •Catering costs. Although we provide you with an estimated quotation for our exclusive partnered catering company, this isn’t factored into any figures owed direct to Applewood Hall. You will be in direct contact with the catering company and paperwork and money arranged separately.

  • What time does the venue close?

    A: The bar will close at 23:30 with the Hall closing at midnight. We request that all guests leave promptly after this time and respect nearby campsite customers by doing so quietly. Due to our location, we highly recommended that taxis are pre-booked:

    We can extend our licence until 01:00 (bar close at 00:30, venue close at 01:00) for an additional fee of £250.00 and would require confirmation of this no later than your final planning meeting)

  • Do you offer exclusive use for weddings and special occasions?

    Yes. The focus is on you and you only for the duration of your event.

  • Is the venue accessible with disabled toilets and changing facilities?

    Applewood Hall is fully accessible, and step-free with disabled WCs and baby changing facilities.

  • Are you a pet friendly venue?

    Pets are more than welcome to join in your celebration, but do need to remain outside, in the Reception Garden.

  • Is Applewood Hall suitable for a Spring wedding?

    We’re a year-round venue and our beautifully landscaped gardens provide the perfect backdrop, no matter what the weather throws at you.

  • Do you have on-site accommodation?

    We have luxury on-site glamping for up to 36 guests. Please visit our sister-business, Applewood Countryside Park for further details.

  • Is there additional accommodation available?

    We have off-site accommodation available with our trusted suppliers in the local area, which include lovely B&Bs and boutique hotels.

  • Do the glamping pods have outdoor facilities?

    Our glamping accommodation benefits from private terraces, allowing you to sit back and relax while taking in the atmosphere or even enjoying a nightcap with your guests.

  • Do you cater for caravans and tents?

    We have plenty of space available for caravans, motorhomes or tents so your guests can bring their own accommodation.

  • Can I throw confetti at Applewood Hall?

    Yes, we love nothing more than the perfect confetti shot. We do ask that only dried petal confetti is used however as we have lots of wildlife on-site.

  • Do you take cash at Applewood hall?


    Absolutely! We take cash or card at our bar.
