Fabric & Florals
We must insist that you look at this styled shoot we did in April - we're obsessed!
Our inspiration stemmed from the relationship between two timeless design elements: fabric & florals, and the colour scheme taken from the ever popular pastel pink and sage green, but this time we've cranked it up a notch.
By combining textures, flowing drapery and thoughtfully curated floral arrangements, we created a setting that felt both bold and brave, showcasing how each detail can transform a celebration into a fun experience!
THE FINAL LOOK
The makeup was kept fresh, and enhanced features rather than overpowering the overall aesthetic. Paired with a neat updo hairstyle with relaxed curls, this went perfectly with the headband and completed the elegant look for our bride model.
For the suit, we knew we wanted green straight away to go with the colour palette we had in mind, along with wanting the tie and pocket square to be the bolder colours - what a great touch we were lucky to have for the tie and pocket square that were handmade with lace - another fitting nod to the fabric element of the theme, just like the netting in the headband and the impressive flowing trail on the gown!
We wanted modern meets classic for the looks, so the shape, button detailing and delicate sleeves for the dress really matched this vision, as did the textures and tones for the suit.

The couples cabin at our neighbouring campsite Applewood Countryside Park provides a great space for preparations and a romantic spot before and after the big day!

TRAVEL IN STYLE
Silverline Limousines and Wedding Cars often get booked by our couples as they have a great range of transport options, along with having friendly and helpful drivers.
The chosen carriage of the Royal family - and full of character... we had to have the Daimler Limo!
Whether it be going for a drive around the village, campsite, or just having amazing photos on our grounds - we think pairing the countryside backdrop with a stylish vehicle is a must!

THE CEREMONY
The fabrics transformed both the indoor and outdoor settings, demonstrating how carefully chosen textiles can completely redefine a space while adding depth and personality to the overall design.
Striking florals introduced more layers of colour and texture, bringing the entire concept to life and creating statement backdrops.
Whether styled beneath the open sky or within the ceremony room, this design showcased how the same key elements and shape can be adapted.
The result was a ceremony setting that felt full of character—proving that when fabric and florals work together, they become so much more than just decorative details
THE FUN MOMENTS
While beautiful styling and thoughtful design form the foundation of a styled shoot, we also wanted to capture the joy, energy and personality that can make wedding days so special.
From celebratory drinks at the bar to playful moments on the dance floor and games in the garden, these images remind us that weddings are about more than just aesthetics—they're about creating fun (& pretty cool) memories!!

THE DETAILS
Often the smallest details bring the entire vision together.
For this shoot, every element was carefully considered to ensure the colour palette flowed, the textures stood out, and the modern meets vintage was apparent, creating a striking overall look from beginning to end.
Flowing linens and sculptural napkin folds echoed the movement seen throughout the fabric installations, while textured glassware and candles added another layer of depth to the tablescape.
We also wanted to showcase how details can be used to reflect personality - designed to feel intentional. Demonstrating how fashion and venue styling can work together to strengthen an overall wedding concept.

THE VENUE.
Finding a venue that can bring a creative vision to life is essential and here at Applewood Hall, we provide the perfect blank canvas.
With our beautiful garden, versatile ceremony spaces, and a spacious reception hall, the venue can showcase how a cohesive wedding design can flow effortlessly from one part of the day to the next.
Applewood Hall was far more than simply the setting—it became part of the design itself. Its flexibility, countryside surroundings and bright atmosphere provided the ideal starting point for the concept of this styled shoot and creating a truly inspiring space - and proof that couples can create a wedding day that's jam packed with personality.
This shoot was a celebration of bold colour, flowing fabrics and abundant florals, but it was also a reminder of how the right venue can help bring a wedding vision together. (oh, and to remember to have fun with it too!)
